This is already the best weekend ever.

((So hey guys, yeah, I’m visiting my amazing girlfriend for the weekend, so no updates for a bit (not like you were expecting any). We’ll try to draw something together though!))

((And as a bonus second update for today, here’s the entry I did for Ace’s time frame challenge! Basically the challenge was to draw our character in 4 different time frames of their lives. For reference, the current Zig is the Toysmith (obviously). Just a bonus, dropping hints as to what’s coming next~))

Finally got around to making a reference sheet for Tawny!

And again, she’s got a slight cockney accent. Something like this.

Here’s what’s been revealed so far:

• Age 12
• She lives with her mother in a secluded place outside of town
• She is originally from Trottingham
• She and her mother are running from mother’s ex-husband, Tawny’s father.
• She has a fear of crowds
• Her favorite flavor if ice cream is mint chocolate chip

((TV Show spoilers

So, I’ve given a general voice for Tawny before, but nothing for Zig Zag. His voice in general is similar to the one Nathan Fillion, who you can hear bits of up in that video there, acting in his role as Richard Castle from Castle.

So yeah, older, but still “youthful” voice, maybe slightly higher pitched than Fillion’s, and obviously Zig has a more “polite” tone than Castle usually does. It’s hard to explain exactly.))

((Ah gosh! Thanks a ton, man! You were one of the first supporters of this blog, and it means a lot that you still enjoy my stuff and think I’ve improved. And I plan to be sticking around for a while yet! Thanks again ^w^))

On this day last year, I joined Tumblr. I thought it’d be fun to do. Y’know, make an ask blog, answer some goofy questions. But I did so much more. I improved my art. I made new friends. I got followed by people, actual people who like my work! I made friends, and bonded, and had tons of fun, and challenges, and wrote stories, and explored new worlds and ideas.

So what if I don’t have as many followers as someone else who’s been on the same amount of time? Every single one of you mean so much to me. You care, even a little bit, about my art stories and what I do, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you, whether you’ve been following me since the very beginning with my crap-tastic art or have just tuned in to my significantly less crap-tastic art, I thank you.

There are some specific people who I’ve met here that I owe a great deal to, for inspiration, encouragement, ideas, and love. You know who you are. I’ve talked about each you a lot already. I don’t want to clutter this up with a bunch of names, just know that I give my special thanks to you.

So yeah. One whole year on this crazy site. I’ve done a lot in that time, and I’ve got plenty more planned!
